Ahmose I
Ahmose I was a pharaoh and founder of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt. His reign laid the foundations for the New Kingdom, under which Egyptian power reached its peak. He was the son of Seqenenre Tao and brother of the last pharaoh of the Seventeenth dynasty, Kamose. He is buried in the Valley of the Kings at the Great Pyramid...
