2021 West Bengal Legislative Assembly election
In the previous elections in 2016, the All India Trinamool Congress retained its majority in the Legislative Assembly. The Bharatiya Janata Party won 3 of the 294 elected seats. In the 2019 general elections the BJP won 18 of the 42 Lok Sabha seats.
