The NFL originally scheduled the game for January 31, 2021 at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada. On October 14, 2020, the league decided to cancel the game due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The league announced further details on November 17 that the Pro Bowl would be held virtually as a week-long event.
