2020 Arizona Proposition 207
Arizona Proposition 207 was a voter initiative to appear on the November 2020 ballot. Passing with some 60% of the vote, the proposition allowed the legalization and taxation of recreational cannabis for adult use. The proposition imposes a 16 percent excise tax on cannabis. Likely voters polled in July 2020 indicated 62% support for cannabis legalization.
