2020–21 United States Senate election in Georgia

The 2020–21 United States Senate election in Georgia was held on November 3, 2020 and on January 5, 2021. Democrat Jon Ossoff defeated incumbent Republican Senator David Perdue. If Democrats win both Georgia runoffs, their caucus will gain control of the Senate. The resultant 50–50 tie could be broken by Democratic vice president-elect Kamala Harris.
