Leon Spinks was an American professional boxer who competed from 1977 to 1995. He won the undisputed heavyweight championship in 1978 after defeating Muhammad Ali in a split decision. Spinks also had a brief career as a professional wrestler in the 1990s. He died in a car accident in 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
St. Louis is the second-largest city in Missouri. It sits on the western bank of the Mississippi River, which forms the state line between Illinois and Missouri. An avalanche is an event that occurs when a cohesive slab of snow lying upon a weaker layer of snow fractures and slides down a steep slope. Avalanches are typically triggered in a starting zone from a mechanical failure in the snowpack. After initiation, avalanches usually accelerate rapidly and grow in mass and volume as they entrain more snow.

Clarence Brandenburg, a Ku Klux Klan leader in rural Ohio, contacted a reporter at a Cincinnati television station and invited him to cover a KKK rally. Brandenburg was charged with advocating violence under Ohio’s criminal syndicalism statute for his participation in the rally and for the speech he made. The U.S. Supreme Court reversed Brandenburg’s conviction.
