It was written by Jon Vitti and directed by Bob Anderson, who also wrote the episode’s musical interlude, “The Teletubbies”, as well as the film version of “The Simpsons” The episode is about a children’s singer and guitarist named Roofi, a parody of Canadian-Armenian children’s singersongwriter Raffi Cavoukian.
