James Patrick Page OBE is an English musician, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest and most influential guitarists of all time. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice: once as a member of the Yardbirds and once as member of Led Zeppelin. He has been awarded an OBE for his services to music in the 1980s and 1990s.

He is widely considered to be one of the greatest and most influential guitarists of all time. Page is prolific in creating guitar riffs and his varied style involves various guitar tunings, technical and melodic solos and aggressive, distorted guitar tone. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice: once as a member of the Yardbirds and once as member of Led Zeppelin. He has participated in various guest performances with many artists, both live and in studio recordings, and participated in a one-off LedZeppelin reunion in 2007 that was released as the 2012 concert film Celebration Day. Along with The Edge and Jack White, he participated in the 2008 documentary It Might Get Loud. Page’s musical tastes included folk, blues, skiffle and the sounds of Elmore James, Buddy Bmore, Freddie King, Freddie Hubert, Freddie B, Guy Guy, Guy Hubert and Buddy Holly. He appeared on BBC1’s President Lotta Lotta President in 1957 with a Höfner acoustic, which he’d bought from his milk money. In 2010, he was ranked number two in Gibson’s list of \”Top 50 Guitarists of All Time\” and, in 2007, number four on Classic Rock’s \”100 Wildest Guitar Heroes\”. He has been awarded an OBE for his services to music in the 1980s and 1990s, and a CBE for services to the music industry in the 1990s.

He currently lives in London with his wife and two children, and has a son and a daughter, both of whom he has raised since the age of 12. He also has two step-daughters, a daughter and a son-in-law, who he has been married to since 2007. He lives in the south of England with his second wife, Tanya, and their son, Robert, who has been with the band since the early 1980s. Page has three children with his third wife, who is also a singer-songwriter, and one step-daughter with whom he had a son, Michael. He and his wife have a son named James, who was born in 1998. He had a daughter with his fourth wife, Emma, who died in 2010. He now lives in New York with his daughter, Emily, and his step-son, Peter, who lives in Los Angeles with his mother and step-father. Page and his family have three children, all of whom have been born in the United States. He started playing the guitar when he was 12, but was largely self-taught. His early influences were rockabilly guitarists Scotty Moore and James Burton, who both played on recordings made by Elvis Presley. Presley’s song \”Baby Let’s Play House\” is cited by Page as being his inspiration to take up the guitar, and he would reprise Moore’s playing on the song in the live version of The Song Remains the Same.
