Ian Robins Dury was an English singer-songwriter and actor. He rose to fame during the punk and new wave era of rock music. He is survived by his wife, two children and a step-daughter. He died in a car crash in 2011.

He was the lead singer of Ian Dury and the Blockheads and before that of Kilburn and the High Roads. Dury’s lyrics are a combination of lyrical observation, word play, British everyday life, character and humour. He is survived by his wife, two children and a step-daughter. He died in a car crash in 2011. He will be buried in Harrow Weald, Middlesex, with his wife and two children.
