Got7

Got7 is a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment. The group is composed of seven members: JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom. Got7 debuted in January 2014 with the release of their first EP Got It?, which peaked at number two on the Gaon Album Chart and number one on Billboard’s World Albums Chart.

Summary Got7Got7 is a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment. The group is composed of seven members: JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom. Got7 debuted in January 2014 with the release of their first EP Got It?, which peaked at number two on the Gaon Album Chart and number one on Billboard’s World Albums Chart. In late 2014, Got7 signed with Sony Music Entertainment Japan and ventured into the Japanese market to release their debut Japanese-language single. Their eighth EP, Eyes On You was released on March 12, 2018, and has sold over 300,000 copies. Their EP, Dye was released in April 20, 2020 and has sell over 450,000 Copies. Their fifth Korean EP Flight Log: Departure and their second full-length studio album Flight log: Turbulence were both chart-toppers. In the same year they also released their seventh EP, 7 for 7, featuring theChart-topping single \”You Are\”. The group gained attention also for their live performances, which often includes elements of martial arts tricking and street dancing. This style drew comparisons to their senior group, 2PM, who are well known for their acrobatic dance styles. The final name includes the lucky number seven, meaning \”seven lucky people come together\”.

Got7 was described as a hip-hop group that incorporates martial arts Tricking and b-boying styles in their performances. Their first EP shot to No. No. 1 on Billboard’s World Album’s Chart and was No. 2 on Gaon album chart. For their new EP, the group opted to a brighter and more colorful image than their colorful image at the show at Mnet’s Countdown, performing their single “Girls Girls Girls” Shortly after their debut the group signed a contract with Japan’“Got7” and launched a showcase in front of thousands of fans in Japan in June 23, 2013. The first single from their second EP, Got Love, was written and produced by J Y Y, which was written by Park Yoon-bum. The second single, “A” was written by JY Y, and its title was “Got Love”. The third and final part of the group”s Flight Log series, ‘Flight Log: Arrival,’ was the third part of their Flight Log album with more than 300,00 copies sold. The album was their highest selling album at the time and sold more than300,000 copy. The fourth and final EP, ”You Are’, was the second part of its series and was the first part of a series of EPs. The fifth and final album, ‚Flight Log : “Turbulence,”  was the last part of Flight Log, with the single ‘Turbulent’.
