In The Final Chapter, Jason awakens to kill a group of friends and a nurse before returning to Crystal Lake to kill the next victim. Friday 13th: A New Beginning follows Tommy Jarvis, who was committed to a mental health institution after the events of The Final. Chapter 1 follows Roy Burns, who grew up constantly afraid that Jason’s persona would return and became a copycat killer at the institution. They eventually manage to defeat Jason and defeat a young boy named Reggie who was murdered by one of Roy’s patients. They learn that Roy had a son named Reggie who was a copy cat killer who had been murdered by the son of a patient at the mental institution. The next day, they learn that Reggie had moved to a new home, which has moved to which Tommy has moved halfway through his life. The final chapter ends where Part III leaves off, with Jason found by the police and taken to the local morgue after removing the axe. In Part III, Jason finds his way to Chris Higgins’ local homestead and kills anyone who wanders into the barn where he is hiding, and Jason leaves the barn to kill the rest of the group. In part IV, Jason finds a cabin in the woods with a shrine built around the severed head of Mrs. Voor hees, and ultimately kills Trish and Tommy Jarvis, who ultimately killed Jason and ultimately killed by Trish.
