Brit Hume is an American journalist and conservative political commentator. He is married to Virginia Powell Hume, the former chief of the Washington bureau for Fox News. Hume is of part Scottish descent, descended from George Home, a son of the 10th Baron of Wedderburn exiled to Virginia after the First Jacobite Rebellion.
