Björn Kristian Ulvaeus (born 25 April 1945) is a Swedish singer-songwriter and producer. He was a member of the Swedish musical group ABBA, and co-composer of the musicals Chess, Kristina från Duvemåla, and Mamma Mia! He appeared briefly in a comedy video made for the UK Eurovision Song Contest in 1974.

He was a member of the Swedish musical group ABBA, and co-composer of the musicals Chess, Kristina från Duvemåla, and Mamma Mia! He co-produced the films Mamma Mamma! and Here We Go Again with fellow ABBA member and close friend Benny Andersson. Before gaining international recognition with ABBA he was in the folk-schlager band Hootenanny Singers, known earlier as the \”West Bay Singers\”, who had an enormous following in Scandinavia. He is married to Agnetha Fältskog, and has one sister, Eva Margareta. He appeared briefly in a comedy video made for the UK Eurovision Song Contest in 1974, but was not included in the official DVD release of the video.

In fact, each of the four members of the group cameoed in the video, as did others such as Cher and Rik Mayall. The video was billed as the first time the four had worked together since the group split, but they shared appearances with each other separately. He has a son, Björn Jr, and a daughter, Mia, who are both singers and have appeared in several ABBA films. He also has two sons, Jörn and Andersson, with whom he has two daughters, Mia Mia and Mia Mia 2. He lives in Stockholm with his wife and two children.
