He thanks her for saving him from a business deal which he got as a corporate commission by evacuating many villages. He then offers her 300 crores from an 1800 crore for a deal he got from a corporate firm. She says that he is a good man, and that they are doubting his and her integrity without any basis. The two of them plan to interrogate IAS Chanchla; a close confidante of Eashwar, who is in jail for murdering her fiancé.
