In the film, scientists are caught in the crossfire of an ancient battle between Aliens and Predators as they attempt to escape a bygone pyramid. The heat bloom is a ruse to attract humans to the site of the pyramid for the sole purpose of making new Xenmorphs. Lex and Sebastian decide that the Predators must be allowed in their hunt so that the Xenomorphics do not escape to the surface. Just as they are about to escape, Scar detaches and uses a bomb in his wrist module to destroy the pyramid and the remaining Xenomorph’s eggs. The two form an alliance with the XenomorphQueen, using her own acidic blood, along with the other Xen morphs, to defeat Scar and the other Predators.

The final battle takes place in the pyramid, where Scar uses the parts of a dead Xenomorph to create a new Xenomorph, using the remaining parts of his own body as a bomb to destroy it. The team is forced to fight off Scar and other Predators to reach the surface, where they are killed by a Xenomorph in a battle that ends in a stalemate. The Alien Queen is freed from her restraints and uses her own blood to create new Xenomorphic eggs, which hatch and hatch into adult XenomorphS.
