Adam Gase

Adam Joseph Gase is the head coach of the New York Jets of the National Football League. He is the first head coach to be born after the team was founded in 1966. The Dolphins fired Gase on December 31, 2018, a day after a 42–17 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Gase also served as the headCoach of the Miami Dolphins from 2016 to 2018. He is the first head coach to be born after the team was founded in 1966. The Jets announced that Gase would be the 19th head coach in the team’s history on January 11, 2019. The Dolphins fired Gase on December 31, 2018, a day after a 42–17 loss to the Buffalo Bills to close out the 2018 season.

The couple have 3 children: a daughter, McKenzie, and two sons, A. J. and Wyatt. He has worked with coaches Mike Martz and John Fox, and quarterback Peyton Manning. He also worked as a scouting assistant for the Detroit Lions from 2003 to 2005. In 2008, Gase joined the 49ers as the offensive assistant coach.
