In April 2014, he scored the first hat-trick of his career in the 7–0 rout of Rennais de Stade de Coupe de France. In June 2014, Mb appé signed a three-year deal to tie him to the club until 2019. He became the youngest player in Monaco’s history to become a first team player again, once again at age 17.
