Dan Orlovsky

Dane John Orlovsky was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the fifth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He also played for the Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Los Angeles Rams. He is now a football analyst for ESPN and a member of the New England Patriots’ coaching staff. He was also the coach of the Connecticut Huskies football team from 2003 to 2007.

He also played for the Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Los Angeles Rams. He played college football at the University of Connecticut. He holds the school record for most pass completions, pass attempts, yards passing, touchdown passes, interceptions, total plays and total yards. Orlovky also started the final game of the 2008 season, but was unable to lead his team to their first victory of the season. He is now a football analyst for ESPN and a member of the New England Patriots’ coaching staff. He has also been a coach for the New York Jets, New York Giants, and New York Knicks. He was also the coach of the Connecticut Huskies football team from 2003 to 2007.

He won the NCAA Division I-A championship in 2004. He threw for 2,489 yards and 58 touchdowns as the Gaels went 12–0, winning the state championship. He earned All-American honors from Prep Football Report, SuperPrep and Prep Star, and was also named Connecticut all-state, Class LL MVP, the New Haven Register’s Connecticut Player of the Year and winner of the McHugh Award. He currently plays for the San Francisco 49ers. He previously played in the NFL for the Lions, Texans, Colts, Buccaneers and Rams. His son, Jake, is an NFL quarterback for the Oakland Raiders and the San Diego Chargers, as well as a college football coach.
