Lambert was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on January 29, 1982, to mother Leila, a dental hygienist; and father Eber Lambert, a program manager for Novatel Wireless. His father is of partial Norwegian descent and his mother is Jewish, with roots in Romania. He has a younger brother, Neil. Lambert is married to former U.S. Idol judge Kelly Osbourne and has a daughter, Adriana, and a son, Noah. He is the brother of actor Josh Lambert, who appeared on American Idol in 2009 and appeared on The Voice in 2012. He also has a son with former American Idol judge, Adam Lambert Jr. and a daughter with former contestant, Adrienne Houghton. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children. Lambert has two sons, Noah and Hunter, who are both actors. He and his wife have a daughter named Adriane, who is also a singer-songwriter and has appeared in several musicals, including Wicked, Brigadoon, The Ten Commandments: The Musical, and The Music Man.
