Raheem Morris

Raheem Morris is an American football coach. He most recently served as the interim head coach for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League in 2020. He previously served as head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2009 to 2011. Morris is a graduate assistant coach at Hofstra University and a defensive minority intern with the New York Jets in 2001.

Morris also served as defensive backs coach for the Washington Redskins from 2012 to 2014 and as an assistant coach in various roles for the Falcons from 2015 to 2020. Morris is a graduate assistant coach at Hofstra University and a defensive minority intern with the New York Jets in 2001. He played safety for Hofstra from 1994 to 1997.

He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and was inducted into the NFL’s Pioneer Hall of Honor in 2010. He has been married to his longtime girlfriend, former NFL player and college coach, Tania Johnson, since 2008. He also has a daughter, Tia, who was born in 2008. Morris has been involved in several high-profile coaching jobs, including as defensive coordinator for the Kansas State Wildcats in 2006 and as the defensive coordinator at Cornell University in 1999. He was fired by the Buccaneers on January 2, 2012 after a 4–12 season.
