Haikyu!! is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. It was serialized in Shueisha Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2012 to July 2020. In North America, the manga has been licensed by Viz Media, while the anime series has beenlicensed for digital and home release by Sentai Filmworks. The manga won the 61st Shogakukan Manga Award for best shōnen manga in 2016.

Haikyu!! is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. The story follows Shōyō Hinata, a boy determined to become a great volleyball player despite his small stature. It was serialized in Shueisha Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2012 to July 2020. An anime television series adaptation by Production I. G aired from April 2014 to September 2014, with 25 episodes. In North America, the manga has been licensed by Viz Media, while the anime series has beenlicensed for digital and home release by Sentai Filmworks. The manga won the 61st Shogakukan Manga Award for best shōnen manga in 2016. In July 2020, it was announced that the series would reach the climax of its final arc on July 13, 2020. A spin-off series titled Haikyu!!, by Kyōhei Miyajima, was released on May 13, 2019. Three volumes have been published so far, with the final volume due to be released on July 20, 2020, in the combined #33–34 issue of Weekly Shônen Jump. As of November 2020, Haikyu!!! had over 50 million copies in circulation. The first volume was published on June 4, 2012, with 44 volumes published. At New York Comic Con, North American publisher Viz Media announced their license of the manga and released the series in English on January 2016. A radio drama for the series was broadcast on Tokyo’s Jomi Jum!Bang! TV in November 2012, providing multiple voice actors with multiple voiceovers.
The radio drama was broadcast in Tokyo’s Sakiyomi! Bang! TV on November 13, 2012. A second one-shot was published in the Combined #21–22 issue of weekly Shōonen Jump, published on April 25, 2011. A third season aired from October 2016 to December 2016, with 10 episodes. A fourth season was announced during the Jump Festa ’19 and was planned for release in two cours, the first cour of 13 episodes aired from January to April 2020, and the second cour of 12 episodes aired from October to December 2020. The fourth season has been delayed from May 1, 2020 to May 3, 2020 due to COVIDVID concerns due to May 1-13, 2020 being the date of the Jump+ Jump+ website launch. The series finished in theCombined #33 –34 issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump on July 20, 2020 in the combined #12 – Combined #33 & 34 issues of Weekly Shounen Jump on February 20, 2012 and August 4, 2020 in the combined #11–12 Issue of weekly Shūnen Jump on August 5, September 1, October 2, November 3, and the combination of #11 and October 4 issue-of weekly Shunkan Jump on August 6, February 7, March 8, April 9, and the combining #11–10 issues-of-Weekly Shunkan Jump on September 6 and September 7 September.
