Denise van Outen is an English actress, singer, dancer and presenter. She finished as runner-up in the tenth series of the BBC One dancing show Strictly Come Dancing. She was a judge on Any Dream Will Do in 2007, Born to Shine in 2011 and Ireland’s Got Talent which ran for two seasons.

Denise van Outen is an English actress, singer, dancer and presenter. She presented The Big Breakfast, played Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago both in the West End and on Broadway. She finished as runner-up in the tenth series of the BBC One dancing show Strictly Come Dancing. She was a judge on Any Dream Will Do in 2007, Born to Shine in 2011 and Ireland’s Got Talent which ran for two seasons. Van Outen also narrates the ITVBe reality television series The Only Way Is Essex. She has also appeared in film, initially as Maureen in the crime comedy Love, Honour and Obey. In February 2015, it was announced that Van outen would be joining the cast of EastEnders. She plays intelligent businesswoman Karin Smart with Phil Branning and Max Branning. She also co-wrote the one-woman play Some Girl I Used To Know with Terry Ronald, which she will tour from January 2014 to February 2015.
She appeared in a Drinking and Driving Wrecks Lives commercial in 1992. She played the lead character of Alex in the anthology film Tube Tales, set on the London Underground, in the \”Horny\” segment, directed by Stephen Hopkins. In 2010, she was cast in the film of Run For Your Wife, starring Danny Dyer, Sarah Harding and Neil Morrissey. She is also involved with the business group Max Smart, who gets involved with business history and business history with her clients. In 2013, she wrote and starred in the play Some Girls I Used to Know with Ronald, and co-starred in the movie Run for Your Wife with Max Branner. She starred in a film of the same name, Run for your Wife, which was released in October 2013. In 2014, she starred in The Book Of Life, starring alongside Simon Cowell and Emma Watson. She will also appear in a new film of The Book of Life.
