In November 2018, The Hollywood Reporter included her in their \”Next Gen Talent: Sad Sad Hollywood Rising Stars list for 2018.

In April 2019, Comer was asked about her upcoming work during an interview on Radio 4’s The Radio Times. She said: “I don’t want to talk about my upcoming work. I just want to do what I love and that’s what I’m doing right now” She has been nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards and two British Academy Television Awards for Best Actress.
