Hilary Erhard Duff is an American actress, businesswoman, singer-songwriter, producer, and writer. She became a teen idol as the title character of the television series Lizzie McGuire. Since 2015, she has starred as Kelsey Peters on TV Land’s longest-running original comedy-drama series Younger. She has been married twice, firstly to former professional ice hockey player Mike Comrie from 2010 till 2016, and later to record producer and singer- songwriter Matthew Koma since 2019.

Duff was born on September 28, 1987 in Houston, Texas. She is the daughter of Robert Erhard, a partner in a chain of convenience stores, and Susan Colleen, a homemaker turned film and music producer. She was raised between Houston and San Antonio, the locations of her father’s convenience stores. She and her sister Haylie auditioned for several years and were cast in many television commercials. The pair also modeled various clothing brands, including various clothing and accessories brands, such as Casper Meets Wendy, based on the characters Wendy Harvey and Wendy Meets the Comics.

She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children. Duff is married to producer and record producer Matthew Komas, who she has been with since 2019 and they have two children, a boy and a girl, respectively. She lives with her mother in San Antonio and has a boyfriend of four years, who lives in New York City. Duff also has a daughter, a son, and a daughter-in-law, who also lives in San Diego, California. Her husband and daughter have been married since 2010. She appeared in numerous films, with leading roles in Agent Cody Banks, Cheaper by the Dozen, A Cinderella Story, and Cheaper By The Dozen 2. She later began appearing in independent films playing a wider range of roles, including an oversexed popstar in War, Inc. and The Haunting of Sharon Tate.
