The film adapted the original film script, which was heavily rewritten beyond the on-stage one-set scenario. The story is more tightly linked with the play than the stage production; the increased characters caused dialogue between the original, all-female cast caused the dialogue on the screen to change. The house where much of the film was shot is now a six-suite B&B, available for rent for rent, and is available to rent for six months from Tom Botten Tom&B&B. It has a 68% score on the Rotten RottenTom&Botten critics’ score and a score on 68% of critics’ scores.
