Clarence Anicholas Clemons Jr. was an American musician and actor. From 1972 until his death in 2011, he was the saxophonist for Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band. In 1985, he had a hit single with \”You’re a Friend of Mine\”, a duet with Jackson Browne. Clemons suffered a stroke on June 12, 2011, and died of complications from it six days later at the age of 69. He was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the E StreetBand in 2014.
