Jack Aitken is a British-Korean racing driver. He is currently competing in Formula 2 for Campos Racing. He made his Formula One debut for Williams at the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix. He replaced George Russell, who replaced Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes for the event.

Summary Jack AitkenJack Aitken is a British-Korean racing driver. He is currently competing in Formula 2 for Campos Racing. He made his Formula One debut for Williams at the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix. He replaced George Russell, who replaced Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes for the event. In February 2016, he was one of four drivers confirmed to join the young driver program of Renault F1. In September 2017, he tested the Lotus E20 at Jerez. In January 2018, ART Grand Prix announced he would join their Formula 2 team for the 2018 FIA Formula 2 Championship. He finished 11th in the championship with 63 points.

For the 2019 season he moved to Campos, partnering Dorian Boccolacci and later Arjun Maini and Marino Sato. He will continue as test driver for Renault in 2019. In 2020, he will serve as the Williams Academy’s reserve driver for the 2020 Formula 2 season. He chose Williams as an opportunity to replace George Russell who was promoted to Mercedes following Lewis Hamilton’s positive test results for a coronavirus. He has said he is’ready for an opportunity like this’ to race in Formula One. He was born in London to a Scottish father and Korean mother.
